Everyday Geneve and I have a routine: we sit on the front porch and wait for Daddy to come home from work or school. Lately, she's been waving at strangers as they walk by. Sometimes she even say "Aye" (I think this is her way of saying "Hi")

- Austin is MVP of the month at his job for March

- Life is wonderful and God lives!

Christmas with the Coopers

We spent Christmas day with Austin's family at their cabin down in Bear Lake. His grandparents bought the land years ago, and the whole extended family has spent decades slowly building it. This is the view from the front porch. Notice the lake just beyond the other cabins. It's a beautiful place in the winter.

Happy Halloween!

Austin and I actually decided to dress up this year. Neither of us have ever been die-hard Halloweeners, but having a kid sort of changes your mind about these kinds of things... Austin felt such a dramatic change of heart that he was even willing to wear a skirt (my skirt) to pull off the Roman soldier/gladiator thing he had going on. I dressed up as a Grecian goddess (yes, Grecian is a word; it refers to ancient Greece, whereas the word Greek is used when describing modern Greece). Geneve was a fairy, but for the sake of matching we told everyone that she was a Grecian muse :-)
